Antanzen Martin Angiuli

Martin Angiuli was born in Brindisi, Puglia, Italy. He started dancing breakdance, hip hop and funky at the age of 6. Later, he started with ballet, modern and contemporary. He was a dancer for different dance companies in Pesaro, Turin, Bologna and Veneto.

From 2014 his journey to Germany began with working at the Landesbühnen Sachsen, Dresden. In October 2015, together with Malwina Stepien, he founded the ConTrust Collective. Together they won several competitions. From 2017 to 2019 he is a member of Hessisches Staatsballett in Wiesbaden and Darmstadt. From 2019 he worked as a freelancer with many companies and in projects in Berlin, Nuremberg, Tanztheater Erfurt and Weimar, Lebanon as well as Vancouver. In 2020 he worked with Theater Dortmund on a research about technique, time and dance and starts a new collaboration with Tanztheater Erdmann-Rajski. He is assistant for choreography and dramaturgy at ELSEWHERE Company. In December 2020, he began working on a new short performance and installation, both premiered in Wiesbaden in 2021.
