A participatory project within the framework of the Tanzplattform Rhein-Main.
With EDEN, people from different life contexts, biographies and generations are invited to co-create a utopian or real place - EDEN - and experience an extraordinary dance experience!
Imagine you could live in a place of your choice and design it yourself. Like your personal garden. What would it look like? Where would your Eden be?
EDEN embarks on a search for this living place within us and around us, asking how and where a place of balance can be articulated between untouched, wild forces of nature and domesticated, cultivated landscapes. In an exploration of the linguistic powers of nature, the participatory project explores how humans and nature can dialogue with each other as unities, opposites, opportunities for play, or areas of friction. We invite people from different life contexts, biographies and generations to co-create this utopian or real place and experience an extraordinary dance experience.
As recently published, the artistic team of EDEN now consists of Raimonda Gudavičiūtė, Nira Priore Nouak and Marcelo Omine, as well as Judith Adam (set design) and Lena Kunz (dramaturgy).
EDEN is aimed at people aged 16 and over. Participation in the project is free of charge and requires no previous experience or knowledge of dance.
