The third edition of the Tanzfestival Rhein-Main attracted 7.600 dance enthusiasts to its venues in Darmstadt, Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. Of these, around 900 visited the Tanztag Rhein-Main.
The 17-day programme not only brought new pieces by international choreography stars to the stages, but also presented productions by up-and-coming artists who live and work in the Rhine-Main region. Dance pieces for children and young people completed the programme, which remained true to the motto of the Tanzplattform Rhein-Main to inspire all groups of people with the diverse forms and aesthetics of dance and to question existing boundaries and categorisations.
